Happiness Is a Human Right, but What Is Happiness Without a Smile?
Meet Dr. Benjamin Keller: Expert Care, Genuine Connection
When Dr. Benjamin Keller, founder of Premier Smile and Implant Center, first volunteered on a medical mission trip to Haiti, he knew he would be helping people, but he couldn’t have anticipated how deeply it would impact his future.
During the mission, seeing how dental care could relieve pain, restore confidence, and change lives stayed with him. It became the foundation of how he approaches dentistry today: with compassion, skill, and a true understanding of the role a healthy smile plays in a person’s life.
Complimenting this emotional motivation, Dr. Keller’s expertise is grounded in a rigorous formal education. Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, Dr. Keller studied biology at the University of Mary Washington before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry. He pursued advanced implant training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine, and later deepened his expertise in full arch implant solutions at The Texas Implant Institute. Dr. Keller is also an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, reflecting his commitment to continued learning and clinical excellence.
At Premier Smile and Implant Center, Dr. Keller focuses exclusively on full arch dental implants — a life-changing solution for those who want to restore the comfort, appearance, and strength of their natural smile. Intentional about providing the best patient experience, he has integrated a fully digital workflow and an in-house lab, giving patients beautiful, custom-crafted teeth faster and more predictably than common, traditional methods.
As Dr. Keller explains, “Most of my consult patients come in hopeless. Lets give people hope.”
To him, restoring a smile isn’t just about teeth—it’s about giving someone back their confidence, their happiness, and sometimes even a piece of their identity.
“Happiness is a human right, but what is happiness without a smile? This is a problem we are going to solve—because going to sleep and waking up with fixed teeth is an option. Smling and eating all foods again, is an option. Confidence is an option."
"He cares. He cares more than any dentist that I’ve ever been to," shares Premier Smile patient Sharon Hicks of Charleston.
“When it was finally time to get my teeth, I cried. I said, 'I haven’t seen my smile like this since I was a teenager.’ It was just one of the most overwhelming moments of my life."
The joy on patients’ faces when he hands them a mirror after the procedure never gets old. It is one of his favorite moments with a patient and a core motivation for him in his career.
For Dr. Keller, Premier Smile and Implant Center is not just about teeth — it’s about helping people rediscover confidence, happiness, and a better quality of life.
